The Socioeconomic Side of Rheumatology Care: Determinants and Inequities (2.0 CEU)

There are a variety of intersectional factors and social determinants of health that contribute to disparities in rheumatology care. Understanding them is the first step in finding solutions to overcome these issues. In this virtual meeting, experts in rheumatology care and leaders in health equity will explore the various factors contributing to racial, ethnic, and gender disparities in RA, psoriatic disease, axSpA, and LN such as:

    • Lack of diversity in clinical trials
    • Increased susceptibility to disease
    • Access to medical insurance
    • The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic

COVID 19: Insights and Lessons from COVID-19 (I.0 CEU)

During this virtual seminar, Dr. Cassandra Calabrese will analyze:

    • What we've learned about risk factors for COVID-19 and poor outcomes
    • The importance of mAbs for rheumatic patients with COVID-19
