Cutaneous Conditions in Rheumatology:
A Look Across Skin Colors and Pigment-Rich SkinRegistration link: Click here
This year, we continue to build upon our educational pillars: Clinical Competence, Cultural Consciousness and Collaborative Care. And we have planned three virtual Summits bringing you the latest updates and hottest topics in rheumatology through CME-accredited programs and informational presentations from our partners.
This third Virtual Summit includes a 1.5-hour CME/MOC session on skin comorbidities in patients with rheumatic conditions, taking a deep dive into the different manifestations and presentation across skin colors and pigment-rich skin to address healthcare disparities rooted in social determinants of health. Faculty will also offer expert perspectives on and practical applications of evolving evidence, including the latest guidelines for the treatment and management of skin comorbidities, as well as new and emerging targeted therapies that offer additional options for improved and sustainable outcomes.
This educational session will be led by two esteemed rheumatology and dermatology experts, including:
- Michelle Min, MD, MS – Director of Rheumatologic-Dermatology in the University of California - Irvine School of Medicine in Irvine, California.
- Jonathan Ho, MBBS, D.Sc, Dip.Dermpath – Program Coordinator for the Dermatology Residency Program, and Lecturer of Dermatology/Dermatopathology at the University Hospital of the West Indies in Kingston, Jamaica.
